While taking Driver Training with Classic School of Motoring the following terms apply,

We shall provide a fully insured dual controlled car for all lessons.

All lessons will be taken with a fully qualified DVSA approved instructor.

If you need to cancel or change a lesson 48 hours notice must be given except from sudden ill health or the lesson fee may be lost.

If in the unlikely situation the driving school has to cancel a lesson at short notice you will be given another appointment at a convenient time for you and no fee will be lost.

Gift vouchers are valid for six months from the date of purchase and no refund will be given if not used.

If you buy a block booking of lessons refunds are not normally given if you do not use the lessons except in cases where it is agreed between the pupil and the school, for example if you pass your test before the lessons are used, in other exceptional circumstances a refund may be considered but it is up to the discretion of the school,
If a refund is agreed any lessons taken will be charged at the full normal hourly rate plus a 20% admin charge,
block bookings of less than 20 hours must be used within six months of purchase.

The driving school reserves the right not to supply a car for use on a Driving test, even at short notice if the instructor feels it is unsafe for the pupil to attend the test,
If the pupil books a driving test without the agreement of the instructor the must make their own arrangements to supply a car for use on test unless it is agreed by the school to provide one.

Pass Plus and Advanced lessons may be taken in your own road legal car or one provided by the driving school.

It is your responsibility to ensure that you are fit and well enough to be in charge of a motor car, if you are taking medication or you are unsure if you are fit to drive please discuss this with your instructor, we reserve the right not to conduct the lesson if we feel that you are not fit to drive and the lesson fee will be lost.

The driver of the car is legally responsible for their actions, if an offence is committed it is the driver who is held responsible, i.e. the pupil, however if you listen to the help and guidance from your instructor these situations should be avoided.

None of your personal information will be stored by us electronically or will be given to any third party without your consent.

We have over 26 years experience in driver training and will do our best to ensure you have a safe and enjoyable experience while taking your lessons, if however you feel that you have a problem please talk to us about it and we will do our best to resolve the issue.
